What is the difference?
A pub can be described as a minibar for binge drinking. It is a place where both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are served. Alcoholic beverages can be bought and consumed in pubs. Unlike a pub, a club is a social place that has discussions, music, and a dance floor. A license is required to run a pub and the licensee is known as the landlord.
A club is more of a place to dance, meet people, and socialize. A bar is just a place where only alcohol is sold and served.
A bar is all about the alcohol. People come here to drink and then drink more. Therefore, the food in a bar is essentially about starters or snacks; something that makes the alcohol taste better. A pub, on the other hand, is like a restaurant that also serves good alcoholic drinks.
